Printer Interface

The Axiom ParallAx is a printer interface which allowed you to connect any parallel printer to your TI. It could be used with or without the PEB.

This pictures shows the unit, its cable, and the centronics connector. This unit also came with a power supply.

The picture above shows the circuit board. Notice the connector on the top. This was used to connect the flex cable to the PEB. Some printers provided 5 volt out (pin 18 of the printer), and if this was the case there were instructions on how to jumper this card so you could use the5 volt from the printer and do away with the external power supply.
